Miley's sorry for semi-nude pics

Teensensation Miley Cyrus has apologised to fans ahead of the release of acontroversial set of snaps showing her semi-nude saying she is embarrassed withthepictures.
Ananova.comquoted her as saying: "I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel soembarrassed. I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologise to myfans who I care so deeply about."
The snaps will be published in thenew issue of VanityFair.
And all this has happened the same week as photos of alingerie-clad Miley leakedonline.
Vanity Fair editors,however, were quick to respond and said: "Miley's parents and/or minders were onthe set all day. Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shootand everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait ofMiley.
"In fact, when (VanityFair writer) Bruce Handy interviewed Miley, he asked her about the photoand she was very cheerful about it and thought it was perfectly fine."
